Celebrating Success at the PPOC Alberta Regional Image Salon
Echoes in the Mist
I’m honoured to share that my work was recognized at this year’s Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) Alberta Regional Image Salon. This annual competition celebrates the very best in professional photography across the province, judged by a panel of accredited photographers from across Canada.
Morning Light int the Forest
This year, I was awarded Best in Class – Fine Art, for my image Echoes in the Mist as well as receiving a Judge’s Choice Award for my image Morning light in the Forest - two distinctions that mean a great deal to me as both an artist and professional photographer.
The Feast Begins
All four of my submitted images performed strongly in the competition, with two earning scores of Excellence and two achieving Merit, placing them among the top-ranked works in their respective categories. The feedback and recognition from the judges reaffirm the creative and technical direction of my recent work and fuel my ongoing pursuit of storytelling through imagery.
The Conqueror’s Gaze
Competitions like the PPOC Regional Salon are not just about awards—they’re about growth, community, and the shared passion for our craft. I’m grateful to be part of such a talented group of photographers and deeply appreciate the Professional Photographers of Canada for continuing to foster excellence and professionalism in our industry.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support my creative journey. Stay tuned for more updates as these images move forward to the National Image Salon next year.
