On Patrol

In India in the Tadoba Tiger Reserve in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, India. Located about 140 to 150 km from Nagpur, is home to wild Bengal tigers. These tigers were hunted for sport for many years and even now there are more tigers living in captivity than in the wild. This female tiger was on a morning patrol of her range marking her territory. Shot on a Lumix S1Rii with a Sigma 300-600mm F/4 while on safari. The image was taken at f/4.0, 1/1000s at ISO 4000 in March of 2026.
